Today DD had a short "interview" for CCD as we are changing parishes and um, it was one of those things we just had to do. Anyway, she decided that she was going to wear the new dress she received from her Godfather on her birthday (a whopping 2 days ago). She is just thrilled with this dress so her Godfather scores a "WIN!" with this one.She did change later because she wanted to play and didn't want to risk getting it dirty. I just thought it was terribly funny that she wanted to wear the dress so much that any excuse would do.
In other news, DS#1 had his freshman orientation today. There is a parent meeting tonight, but we won't be able to make it. I was told that the parent meeting wasn't as important as the orientation for DS#1 and that missing it was okay. He has a convocation for the magnet school he'll be attending on August 22nd. I am both excited and terrified for him. I am trying to come to terms with the idea that my little baby boy is going to high school.
